Coexistencia Regenerativa / Regenerative Coexistence
In fall 2024, artist friend Richie Morales and I collaborated on a mural for the University of Wisconsin's Institute for Discovery. The mural's theme was "regenerative agriculture," and drawing from much personal inspiration as well as information from UW collaborators, we co-designed this amazing mural. Our partner, State Line Distillery provided insights based on their unique practices of sourcing local grains from regenerative farmland in the Driftless region of Wisconsin. Oh yeah, and a wall...

A Native Year
In 2022, I worked with Lussier Family Heritage Center at Lake Farm County Park to design a 300 square foot mural for their education program.
The 50 foot wall features native Wisconsin prairie and marsh habitats progressing through the seasons. It includes flora, fauna and fungi, plus a climate change exhibit comparing deep native plant roots to the shallow systems of introduced species.

Phase 2
In 2023-24, I designed several more walls for Dane County's rapidly growing education program.
The walls feature a storm water system running into a pond that "flows" into the Center's aquarium which houses the beloved Painted Turtle, Nina. The adjacent wall features the natural process of infiltration and the last wall is adorned with a large Cottonwood tree and cave with roosting Little Brown Bats.
